Question Regarding X3 And Emulator's
« on: March 07, 2013, 02:29:00 PM »

I could be wrong but I think that most emulators have some type of a quit to dashboard function in their menus, but if they don't, then the bios flashed onto your modchip likely has a feature called in-game reset, where you hold down LT+RT+Back+Start or LT+RT+Back+Black, and it should basically reset your Xbox and bring you back to your dashboard.  I'm not quite sure what you're asking as far as the X3 panel goes.

Thanks for the reply.
Well regarding the front panel  ,when the chip is active the panel logo is blue and when it is not active it is red
meaning it does not boot from the chip.
Somtimes when i switch it on the console boots on the chip and sometimes it does not meaning
i need to quickly press the on and off button twice then it boots from the chip and the logo turns blue.

This X3 manual might help answer some of your questions.

In particular:

•A short press on the power button boots the Xbox with the modchip enabled
•You can boot up the XBOX with the modchip disabled by holding the power button when you first turn it on.
•You can boot up to the backup flash ROM bank by turning on the XBOX with both the power and eject button at the same time.
