Assuming I'm not going to buy off craigslist or a forum:
What's the best buy for controllers?

They seem to be priced at 15-20$ each for official M$ s-controllers, dukes run a little cheaper, but that's insane when I can buy the console itself for not much more.

Cheapest would be to buy "broken" controllers and replace the USB cables, but lets say I were to buy a fully working controller.

This leaves pretty much just new and unsold 3rd party controllers. Only ones I ever used were pelican wireless and they sucked right up until they quit working.

TTX seems to make new XBOX controllers or at least there's an unsold surplus going for 10$ or less, and there's a few unlabeled brands in a similar clamshell packaging for the same pricing. Any experiences with these?
