Hey guys I'm trying to get my modded xbox to connect to PC so far I'm close to getting it connected but filezilla is telling me

xbox is using a xunleash menu and laptop is XP HP mini

I have gotten this to work before but I had configured with to another console before and can't really remember how it was done

Ip 192.168.1.1 is on the xbox and same as local area connection on laptop

any other info needed I can give if asked

All man...lol Lets take this from the top.

1. What type of cable are you using? Crossover or Regular Ethernet?

2. You need to be sure that you have a "Crossover" cable or else your Xbox will not be recognized by your PC, Laptop, etc...

*I'm currently running my Softmodded Xbox to my Laptop using a Crossover cable with a Bridged Internet Connection that allows me to gain internet access to my Xbox and allows me to FTP with FlashFXP.

actually found the problem I had the IP wrong on the computer say 198 instead of 192 all working again can transfer though it still cuts the internet off when using the local area connection

That's good to hear SSTG. Try to Bridge the connections so you can keep your Internet running.
