if you swap the psu it will turn on,
you may need to mod the console so it uses ntsc disply to be able to use it though..
a uk standard box will only play uk games and us will only play us games, so if your using a game exploit then you need to remember that.

oce you have it modded though it will be region free and you can easily set it as ntsc or pal. "ntsc is uaully better."
