No Audio In Xbmc

Thanks to all in advance,

Until yesterday xbmc played movie files from F drive as well as from shared folders on PC flawlessly. Now however, the video is fine but there is no audio, mp3s the same, no audio.
Only noticed it after having xbox crash while tranferring files via ftp. While transferring files I tried to open xboxplorer. Beforehand movie files played fine.

Oddly enough, ( I used Slayer's 2.6 includes xbmc and xbmp) tried using xbmp and movie files play fine, audio and video.

Tried removing and reinstalling XBMC, no success. Also Dongle Free Dvd app doesn't want to launch, after launching it with dvd in drive it returns to Evox Dash.

Launching DVD from MS dash with dongle is OK.

As mentioned in the above description games from disc or from hard drive both play flawlessly.

Not sure what is going on.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Dont know if this helps or not but, in xbmc, the right thumbstick is volume, hold it up till the vol slider moves to the top.  Just a suggestion....
