Somehow I think the SOH-D12 is a replacement laser for a 12x DVD drive. The 605B/616T/616F are 16x drives.

In doing a search for SOH-D12, I found an Xbox page which stated this was a replacement for a "third-generation" Samsung DVD drive. Maybe they mean the 605F?

seeing how llamma wont take my laser back, ill sell a brand new samsung laser for the older ones for 25 bucks
