2 Tb Hard Drive On Softmod?

2 tb hard drive on softmod? final word. do i need different bios (tsop or chip)?

i have:
v1.1
kernal: 1.0.4817.1
NTSC
softmod w/Krayzie_SC-NTSC_Ndure_Installer_v1.1 / basic install

do i need LBA48 for 64 cluster support? do i have LBA48 support?

Need? No, but you'd likely find things a lot easier in the long run.

but technically with my setup i should be able to get a 2tb drive and set it up just as i do a 500 gb drive and it will work with my setup?

what do you mean by: "Need? No, but you'd likely find things a lot easier in the long run."

you dont need a hardmod (tsop flash or chip) to use a 2tb drive, but it makes it easier since you dont have to build the drive on a PC or worry about the drive and SATA adaptor being lockable

aww didnt even think about the locking part. my other 1.5tb sata xbox is tsoped. maybe ill brush up my soldering skills and try my first tsop myself.
