Do you mean you've flashed the TSOP with Evox M8?

If so, just get hold of Slayers 2.7, burn it to DVD-R, install the new hard disk, boot with Slayers, then use it to set up the disk.

Once that's done you'll have to reformat the F/G partitions with XBPartitioner 1.0 to set them up, then with XBPartitioner 1.1 to correct the cluster sizes.

160GB disk is broken. Error 9 is most likely to be the SATA to IDE adapter - not all adapters work.

Make sure after using XBpartitioner 1.1 that it took! I thought it did my first time and it didn't and all my sh*t went bad after I hit like 550gigs full. Use some math to check your cluster size cuz it sucks when 500 gigs start going bad
