if i had to guess id say you probably knocked some component off the board when you pried the heatsink off, it can be hard to tell if it broke cleanly

that is what suspected but when ovre it with a 8x magnifying glass and nothing seems wrong, maybe prying it damaged the bga under it, or something on the backside..... will check that tonight
