Xbox Not Picking Up Modem Or Computer

I don't know whats going here now all a sudden my xbox isn't picking up my modem because when i hook up my xbox to the modem it stays at 0.0.0.0 on dhcp and it won't let me connet to the internet or to my main computer for streaming.I look at the back on the xbox and now the light on the nic card stays orang, please tell me my nic card on my xbox hasn't gone bad.

By the way i had my xbox on when the power went out and when i turn it back on it starts doing this but the power hs went off before nd it didn't do this.

I had a problem with an unleashx install one time where it wouldn't connect to the network so I copied xbmc to the box from a fatx formatted flash drive and xbmc was able to connect.


I'm using unleashx as my main dash but this hapens in xbmc as well.

I hook my xbox up to the router/modem and it still says 0.0.0.0, i hook it up to my computer for ftp althought it says 192.168.0.3 it still doesn't allow me to do any streaming or ftp stuff from my computer.Like a sad earlier for some reason the light on the network card on the xbox now stays orange and doesn't go off.All this started when my power went out.

There is really frustrationing because i have tons of important stuff on this xbox that i really need to recover.

How is xbox modded? Softmod, chipped or tsop flashed? Does your PC have IDE connection?

It's softmod using your installer and hdd upgrade method, i've had this xbox for years now.Yes i think it does because i'm using the same pc i used to upgrade my xbox using your softmad method.

The thing is i don't have the action replay unit or a memory card, i'm still hopin there is a way to fix this or recover my data from the xbox..

I think you are mistaken. You were probably referring to ldots's ltools and xboxhdm1.9.

Do you have eeprom backup? xboxhdm1.9 has xbrowser - a file manager which allows you to copy files off the FATX formatted hdd.

I got the names confused, i apologize.

Wow i might have to look and see if i have it on cd because its been like 5 years since i modded the xbox using ltools, i really don't think i would be able to find the cd though.I don't even have any of the tools i used to mod this xbox action replay and mech assault.Is there any other way?
