i dont think you can. but this hapened to me too.
turned out to be loose solder connections on the PSU. just reflowing the solder fixes that.
also, the cords dont really do much, just if there IS a lightning strike, i think its supposed to shunt most of the current or something

what the new cords do is trip a circuit breaker if there is a spark, its a normal GFI plug like on a hair dryer, whn you get it a spark it cuts the power to prevent injury or fire, it doesnt however prevent the spark from happening, so its just a bandaid, not a fix

to fix the problem youll either have to re-solder the loose connection or pick up a new PSU

Sorry, I couldn't  help it. I seriously doubt they do still offer the replacement cords, especially since they pulled the plug on XBL on the original xbox, along with all support I think...

Best thing for you to do is just get another power supply, it will probably cost about what they would want for the power cable so forget about changing the cable and fix the real problem.
