Hi !

it might have been upp before but i cant seem to figure it out right !!

if a HD is bigger then 256 GB  u shuld use 32k cluster right ?
i bught a HD that is  500gb and my F: Partition is  458 GB and ofc i f*** it upp and formated it with 16k cluster ..  but shuld i format that 458 GB part with 32k or 64 k ?? im totaly lost here .. !!

Shuld i use

XBpartitioner 1.1 or XBpartitioner 1.0 to format ?

either version of xbpartitioner will work for 500gb, but newer is usually better, id go with 1.1

32kb clusters.

Whatever version of XBP you use, remember that it'll refuse to format unless you're changing a partition size. For eg, you'd need to set F to a lower capacity, format, then extend it back up to the full size and format again.

XBP 1.1 will always format with the correct cluster size automatically (so long as you keep the above in mind).

You might find it easier to try formatting with this.
