then other days it doesn't work i can not figure it out my xbox media center extender works and the weather works on xbmc. so anybody that has had this problem fill me in cause i'm stuck <_<

static ip's.. or dynamic ip's(DHCP) ?

try restarting the pc

mine does this (infreqently mind) and the restart helps
you may also have to restart the xbox after the pc

i can always see mapped shares (smb://computer name//etc)
only ever happens in workgroup smb (smb://)

mines on a static ip btw

alright i restart my pc then i have to overwrite the default.xbe,FileZilla Server,kai-vectors,keymap,Manual,voicemasks,XboxMediaCenter via ftp then reboot the xbox then it will work now here the wierd part please somebody explain i exit xbmc and then go back into xbmc then it stops working and these pop up in my dir xbmc.old.log ,xbmc log this is strange

edited XboxMediaCenter.xlm now it works
