I got the half screen with 4977 bios, and also the full screen.
All i did was switch off then on until it worked. The clock didn't need set.

i have another HDD that i want to use. standard 5 gig. i tried booting up with my original HDD and my evox disk with "install new HDD," but it freezes at "formatting c:" the clock's fine. i use some chip that says "xecuter 2" on the boot up screen, but it's not a flashable chip so i don't know what kind of chip it really is. i've had several 120gb HDDs that work, but sometimes they don't and none of these suggestions have worked.
