On my latest TSOP flash (I've done probably about two dozen of them, on all models), I've had this strange problem where it would flash red/off after I connected the write-enable points.  I've tried desoldering the points, and it still would flash red/off.  Can someone tell me what the problem is, and how to fix it?

Also, now that I've desoldered, the points on the top just disappeared!  I lifted my desoldering braid, and not only was the solder gone, but the points entirely...

I guess you have answer your own problem, if that point is off, guess what would happen to your xbox, , that points is probably also related to some process of booting up the xbox bios/tsop so if it's gone, like bill gate use to say in windows, it's missing a dll lol try to solder in a small amount of solder in that same place and see how it's gonna boot...

Well, it booted that way when the points were still soldered, so I don't think trying to resolder it would fix anything...
