Added : PM3 Option to set a custom background image to the Content panel from skin settings. To maintain the skin look I suggest you use almost grey scale images, high colour ones will just look odd. The Custom Background Images do not maintain aspect ratio (or it would get bits cut off) you will need to adjust them yourself

I'm glad theres a PM3 Skin Development thread so everyone can see cool updates added to the default skin, instead of reading lines that were added from the last revision (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I love the new background stuff, the 3D View, etc

It wasn't really my original intention for the thread, but i'm glad that's what is has become. Is was almost criminal having Jezz's work go silently unappreciated for a while.

Btw, I love the new coverflow list view. The box edges still look kinda rough on 4:3 but that's to pretty much be expected.

Maybe somebody can answer this for me. A while back (3 or 4 installs ago) I attempted to change the icon on a south park folder (contained on E:) to the wide Icon. It didn't work out, and for some strange reason, now i have the tv.com boxart in my main video browser window in the top left where it would usually say "Xbox Media Center Videos"

I got no idea why it would always stay there its just weird

but it is designed to appear there if the folder has a thumbnail

SupaDawg....I had this exact problem with XBMC when this feature was newly introduced. Haven't had a reoccurrence of it for awhile. However, I sloved the problem back them, by deleting my entire thumbnail directory in USERDATA.

I found it. It had found its way into the thumbnails/Videos folder under a name fffffff.tbn (at the very bottom of my thumbnails).

Jezz, is it possible to implement a coverflow view similar to that we have for music and movies into the Programs views? I've been replacing my game icons with the 3d icons and would love a view that showed a larger res version of the case art.

Don't mean to be a pest, I searched for this info...
How can I put the bookmark feature back into PMIII? I liked it a s a shortcut method to jump from photos to comics, or movies to tv shows etc. I miss that feature. I know it was thought to clutter up the interface but I would like to have it back. I am using a older version of PMIII for the moment. would love to have the latest ver though.

You basically need to add the code back in and modify it for the new skin version. It is pretty hard thing to do the best option if your going through all that trouble would just make straight buttons instead of adding the setable book marks back in since its only you using it. Will take you lots less time and will be about 200% easier to do
