I have checked in both resolutions in xbmc_pc and it doesn't run off the button. Maybe you could supply me with a screenshot and let me know pal or ntsc and let me know 16:9 or 4:3

QUOTE(Abe87 @ Feb 22 2007, 10:44 PM) *

I've checked on my 4:3 ntsc tv and the time & date doesn't overlap. It is really close to each other but doesn't overlap. I will probably add more space between the 2 later on.

Its called screen calibration and is the 1 thing that xbmc_pc makes people forget about when people calibrate their screen you normally get about 10pixels at least on every side of the screen now this shrinks up all the images so they still display proper.  The problem is due to readability issues  the text does not resize so if things end up goign off edges and overlapping
Example and this is a pretty small screen caibration amountcompared to some screenshots I've seen

Hey Jezz_X thanks for the info. I didn't know or even think about the screen calibration doing that.

Selected Set Content is fixed.

I'll work on the context menu this weekend.

I've got some ideas for the visuals problem but will have to look into it this weekend also.

Time & Date are very close. I'll add some more space in there this weekend.

We will release a bug fix version Sunday or Monday. Right now we would prefer to keep this skin off the svn. We will add it later once it becomes more complete.

Let me know if you find anymore bugs. Thanks!

Under "Menu Options" in "Skin Settings", the options below are as follows:

--
Enable Time
Enable Date
Enable Window Title
Enable Content Panel Background
Enable File Size in List View
Enable Highlighted Item Title in Icon View
Enable Highlighted Item Title in Wraplist View
Enable Highlighted Item Title in Big Wide Icon View
Disable Reflections
--

(now here's the bug I found)

If you move up from "Enable Highlighted Item Title in Wraplist View", it skips to "Enable File Size in List View".

Exactly how Vista-like are you going with this skin? Are you guys (Team AF) open to suggestions for some designs.

I was thinking something like a mix of the windows logo and the 360 logo to appear in the bottom left corner like the start button in windows. Maybe it could be used to navigate to the skin settings or something.
Now before you guys start flaming, I am no graphic designer of any sort, and I don't have Photoshop.
Now with that in mind I made a mockup with MS Paint:

This is a really vague description of a bug I encountered. I couldn't recreate it so I guess it's not a huge deal but I went to my movies (view: icons) and selected Super Troopers.mp4 (which BTW doesn't work) then scrolled to the bottom of my collection and the last 3 icons had disappeared. They would only appear if they were highlighted. I scrolled to the top and scrolled back down and it was fine. I wish I could have gotten a screenshot when I had the chance sad.gif

- In Library mode 'Search' isn't available.

- When viewing a playlist 'Repeat: On/Off' isn't available.

- Weather doesn`t show the area code. Though I am sure it depends on the amount of characters in the city/state. I'd suggest moving the time and date under the city/state to better fit the area code.

I don't even know what that meant (prolly cause I was starting to take over this thread), but you made a biggrin.gif on the end so I know it's cool  laugh.gif .
BACK ON TOPIC

- I noticed the spacing of the bar (where it has view: shuffle: etc) at the top of video and music playlists are different.

Is there possibly a different them coming out for this? It looks beautiful, but i am not personally a fan of some great skins that for some reason are using a lot of grey in them, which makes it look a little bland. No offence of course. Take's away from the colorfullness, or the absence of color.

fluidman is the guy to talk to about a more colorful theme. I know that we talked about themes before but I think he wanted to make sure that all of the graphics for the skin were done before starting work on a theme.

And no offence taken to your comment. Different people like different things.
