Hi folks,
Since 2.0 came out I've been looking at using other skins besides PMIII and MC360.
I really like the Xbmac3R skin  however the rotax isn't working properly.

When I first downloaded the skin, which I found on the 2.0 compatibility list, it did not contain the rotax folder.  So, I did some investigating and found one bundled with the XbMac2.1b2R skin.  But, of course, this didn't work because it's not updated for the newest skin.   sad.gif

Would anyone happen to know where I can get an updated folder or how I can update the one I have?

I appreciate any help.

Thanks.

Well, I did as you suggested and went to the official xbmc forum where there was a thread about this skin.
There was someone responding to me, but he (at least i think it's a he.. apologies if not) said they must have changed the download link or something b/c it used to have the folder packaged with the skin.

this person suggested i pm rotax requesting a link for the folder.  and so i did... maybe we will hear back.

in the meantime, i manually changed the home.xml so that it will look the way i want... i just hope i don't want to change it to something different any time soon because i'm not all that familiar with code and stuff......

RE: Xbmac from best skin for each function thread

you can download the skin here: http://perso.wanadoo...tax/XbMac3R.rar
it is compatible with 2.0
Also, one version of xbmac contains all versions of the skin.  with the rotax script you can configure the skin in the interface. the only problem is that the rotax folder that goes with the script hasn't been updated to include changes to the 3rd version of the skin...  (rotax got back to me and gave me the same link so i assume there hasn't been an update to the folder)

i'm not that great with editing xml but i think based off of what was done for the first two versions i may be able to figure out what to add to the folder so it will work with xbmac3r.

BUT like i said i'm not that great with code and stuff so i wouldn't hold my breath...

here's the script you'll want, tested it   and it works.

it'll help me with trying to make a PSP/PS3 style skin for xbmc (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)
