It has been months since I changed any of my skins so I went looking around today and found this one. I dearly love it! You did a fantastic job. I just wish I could find an Evox skin as cool.

Kotix, the missing pixels george michael cover issue seems to be completely fixed now, no problem in any screen. I did witness a strange bug I haven't seen before though, I switched back to homescreen and everything was flickering like crazy. I went into my music then back again and all was normal. I've only seen this happen once but I've only had my xbox on for 5 minutes to try the new skin when I got home this morning so not sure if it will happen again.

Once again, amazing work Kotix ( and support crew! ). No-one could possibly argue that this isn't the best skin by a mile!

Cool! I'm happy to hear that we got this one fixed too.
The flickering you have seen is due to the visualization in the home screen, PM3 had that problem too and i don't know if Chokeman got it fixed already, I'll ask him this night after work.

Ok Just d/led it and I have few problems with the skin. First of all, im using ntsc and the right orb is being cut off now and the top of the left orb too, never had that prob before. Im not feeling the positioning of the osd, its blocking left orb (that sux). How about the bottom center instead or if you insist on keeping it in the left orb atleast let it cover the whole orb. The sounds don't seem all that diff from the project mayhem skin (which are annoying by the way). Oh is there a way to get rid of that 'compact disc' thing that comes up when playing a song that has no cover art? I mean i want it to show cover art when necessary but the cd thing gots ta go!

I luv this skin. I prefer the keymap screen other than the right stick thing by the way.

Nope. I got april 17 version. And this is this definitely the skin cause this is something i kinda noticed before but never really payed attention to it. For example in ALL versions of the orb skin when you go into system info the "Mplayer dev........." line goes off the screen. its a small little thing so i never really cared before, until this version it seems even worse where its affecting the home screen now. I tried center user interface but this is obviously a skin issue since PMIII (or any other skin I have for that matter) doesn't have this problem.

incognegro: The NTSC size thing (border right at the top and bottom of each orb) was apparent in the previous skins. It is more noticable now since the addition of the new "orbs." I dont know much about sizing the skin for the different resolutions, but will ask Kotix the process and try to come up with a fix soon. As for the blank cd, you can get rid of it by changing the image in the media folder.

I know I can change it but i dont want to change it. I want to get rid of it entirely so the gif's show when playing music. At the same i want it to still show the album art 'if necessary'. So;

No album art = Gif's
If there is album art = show album art in orb

get what i mean?

I just got an idea for the skin, what if that ugly compact disc was replaced with an appropriate gif like a cd player moving or something. kotix what you think? oh, kotix im guessing that orb in keymap help screen thing is not gonna happen huh? Thanx for the quick reply j_guzzler

There is noway that i can control when cover is present or not, so forget it for now.

The ugly cd image can be replaced but not with a gif because it is used in all the music screens as default thumb when cover is missing, sorry about this one too.

Regardind NTSC issue I'll see what i can do, as I have a PAL tv and i cannot reproduce it properly.

It could be a bug in the skin, i've discovered some small ones already, btw the right procedure to update the skin is:

-switch to another skin first
-delete old skin folder
-transfer new one

And b.t.w. I can't seem to find an XBMC version above 4-1-2005.

Avalaunch gives me the option to upgrade to 4-4-2005 XBMC, but I have no idea how to do it.

I just uploaded a small update of the skin with very few bugs fixed, the link is the same of post #1.

00g you need a newer xbmc version.

Edit, I see you've fixed the graphics on the smaller orb in my music screen etc. Well done, I was thinking of posting about the orb not being the right shape but you've fixed it anyway.
