I can't seem to stream certain files from my windows share, but if I physically transfer them to the xbox, I can watch them without any problems. Has anyone seen this before? They are just avi (divx or xvid) files, nothing crazy, and they play locally!

Move the files out of the main folder and then put them back.

Sound like they havent inherited the right read/write permitions.

Do you mean just move them to another directory on my pc and then move them back to the share?
