the mods are originally designed for pc but some (if not all) can be converted to the xbox.

You must have the TXD files compressed and most cars require the dmagics wheel mod installed to your version of VC. <

I'm working on a start-out tutorial that will include all the good tools and will post back here when I'm done.
If you need it right away just search around for the "manual" install version. <

that is a way of make mod installs automatic.  However....
that is for the PC.  Look for manual installs.

also the tutorial I mentioned earlier is done.  It can be found here
tell me what you think <

I actually haven't tried that yet.  Maybe later this week if I get a chance I'll try to get it to work.  But right now I'm trying to design my own halo 2 map :D <

Z28...i followed your quide, but im confused about something. why did i ftp gta3.dir from and to my xbox if it was never opened with any program or altered in any way? im trying to figure out where i went wrong, i skipped using your camaro model and used a AE86 model i found for PC, used txd workshop to convert and compress it, used the Deluxo as the replacee car and now the car isnt at my car lot and when i try to go to the other side of the city, the "greetings" screen freezes up but the music continues to play <

when you open gta3.img, the img tool also edits the file gta3.dir.
this is why I said they MUST be in the same directory.
as for the car you downloaded,
the reason I used a car I already have is this:
once you install this one, you can use it as a reference.
not all cars are designed the same.  When you install another car, like the one you mentioned you can compare the steps you took when installing the camaro in the example.

This will tell you if the car is compatible with the xbox version of VC or if you missed a step. <

did a little research found a car you might be talking about here

it too is already compressed.
One thing i changed is I changed the format to VC XBOX.
(don't forget that step)

I have this model up and running on the Xbox version of VC so if your having trouble with a specific step let me know <
