Everytime I try to play vice city off the hard drive it gets to the last of the loading bar and then freezes. I've tried deleting the capfinal thingy but then I just get a dirt disc error. Anyone know the whats the problem? Thanks for the help.

when viec city locked up for me on the loading bar it was becuase of the system clock. check to see that your system clock is correct and once its correct try running it again.

delete or old save game files

I tried both those and it still gets to the last section of the bar and freezes.

Well I downloaded a modded one and tried replacing it, but it still gets to the last section of the bar and locks up. Does anyone know where I can get an orginal main.scm? Or how to fix this? Thanks for the help.

with the modded main.scm you have to delete vc cap final or what ever and you need to start a new game

have you added any car mods.. if so have you conveted the textures?

^^ thats piracy you know (illegal)

mine was doing the same thing whether from disk or HDD. I just reset my system clock and it works fine now, so best give that a shot.
