Okay, its simple:

1. Get your skin.bmp that you have downloaded from wherever.

2. Rename your skin player (must still be a BMP file no matter what!).

3. Open up IE or your ftp prog and head on over to where you have your vice city game installed. Then, go to models/generic/

4. Make a backup of the player.bmp in there and then delete the original inside the generic folder (BACK THIS UP THOUGH!!!!!!!!)

5. Copy your new skin over in the old skins place....

6. Boot up your xbox and play as whomever you have chosen to play as

Simple huh, thought id post it for peeps to see thats all.

Also, ive got serious probs with my vice city now.... Darn it, it wont load up, gets stuck half way through the loading screen. Any help?
I have got a few cars installed and Dmagic wheelmod aswell.

I "solved" the skins issue a long time ago.

I even have a skin up on my site It wasnt very hard 2 figure out...

Well, I just did my own skin (wanted to have myself inside the game) and saved it as Bitmap with a depth of 24 bit, replaced the designated file on the box, deleted all the cache files, started the game, but still Tomy shows up. What's wrong here? I noticed, that the my file is about double the size of the original - will try to save it as 16 bit bmp and try it once more - meanwhile some knows what's wrong here? Could need some help....

Well, 16bit image won't do either. What else do I need to do in order to get this fixed? What caches do I have to delete? HELP, please.

I've done the same thing and it just doesn't work.
