OK I'm reasonably clued up with my XBox and XBMC but am new to the whole script thing.

I'm using CVS buid 2005-05-30, i finally worked a couple of way sto try to launch a script, either via browsing to the scipts dir in my files or via sub menu button.

But when i select any .py file nothing happens, except the xbbc script which brings up the channel selection menu, but nothing happens when i choose a channel. I've being trying ooba, and some of the scripts that came with the build but no luck.

I can get weather, imdb working so I assume my connection with my PC is fine.

I searched forums read on line manuals but can't track down an answer, ne help would be great!!

Slight correction..... Just discovered IMDB dosen't work anymore but the weather still does.

Weather uses hardocded ips if dns is not properly working.

Make sure you setup your DNS properly in XBMC.
