Has anyone had any issue with getting Web Radio (SimpleKML.py and KMLBrowse.py) in the latest CVS release?

I did a full, clean install, and installed the codecs and scripts packs from the XBMC Forum pins (the SimpleKML.py with the "http://webradio.kiss...hp?reload=true" addy, etc. etc.).

Everythings cool, RSS Feeds fine, Movie Trailers (AQTbrowser.py) fine (with Chokeys's V6 "skin" fine and dandy), but the Web Radio button is unresponsive.

I know these are 3rd-party scripts, and that something's wrong on MY end, but does anybody else have this issue?

Now, I know shit about Python, but I'm not a dummy.  Can anybody point out what might be wrong on my end (or, if the case, in general)?

Keep up the good work.  You (and the boys') effort makes the whole modding experience worthwhile.  My DVD drive could break, and it wouldn' bother me much, so long as I have network access and my Samba shares.

Also make a folder called cache in the scripts dir. (got it kinda working this way, but it is not pretty)

Looks like they changed the layout of the site...

scripts subfolder "cache" created.

New linked-to SimpleKML.py downloaded and in scripts folder (replacing the existing one from the XMBC Forum pinned Scripts.RAR pack).

You used the py i linked to in this thread right?

Sure did.  Full clean of old folder, and XBMC save, reboot, install of 3-04 CVS release, d/l and install of Codecs and Scripts packs from pinned XBMC Forum links.

Replaced with your new (linked here) SimpleKML.py file, and created Cache folder.

IMO, a textbook setup, followed by your support.

But, the logfile shows the results.  I'll keep checking, digging and trying, but no go so far.

This line interests me:

Have no clue what it means, but it appeared after I applied your new py script.

Is a compile from fresh SourceForge sources in order, or am I a goon?

Again, Trailers, RSS Feeds, et all working fine.  Should I grab the xbmc-2005-03-08.rar?

If I downgrade to xbmc-2005-02-01.rar, the whole thing works fine, Chokey's skin and all.
