Uhhhhhh, didja check to see if the volume was down in XBMC itself?  :P  use the right thumbstick and push it up. That should increase volume for u. If it doesn't, adjust the audio headroom in the music panel in settings. Shold be sumwhere around 6.00 db. I would bet any amount of money tho that it's the volume in XBMC. just use the right thumbstick to adjust it.

Peace,

Thanks for the help, it was the right thumbstick   Boy doi feel Dumb

I thought it was volume related and looked through all the options and couldn't find anything but never tried the right thumbstick.

I even deleted it off my box and reinstalled it but it must keep its preferences somewhere outside the xbmc folder

Yea... if u go into the game saves on the xbox dashboard (M$) there's an entry for XBMC. that contains all of the positioning of the screen and other personal settings so that they dont get deleted when you upgrade to a new version. Glad i could help!

Peace,
