I liked all the movies on the vcdstorage web site and the html-protector sparked my eagerness to watch them on my xbox without clicking on every link to get the movie location. So I got around the protected source and simpy use the decrypted page and scrape it as any other site. I placed the decrypted page in the scripts folder and used a simple regex to extract the movies from the page. I'm sure there are many ways I could have done this but I'm no python guru and this was the easiest way I knew how. Most all the movies work that the script scrapes from the page but a few dont. I had to replace "_" with "." and capitalize characters in the string to get the movie address. So watch the most and be happy.

Better enjoy while you can I'm sure it wont last long.

Simply extract vcdstorage folder into your scripts folder in xbmc and watch.

Thanks, I guess some people will enjoy this.
But 352x240 is just too crappy quality for me, do they actually charge $$$ for this ?

Feels like wathing a crappy VHS copy

you've made my gf ever so happy......but just one thing.....

is there any way you can make it play drunken master......cos it won't load for me and i really want to watch it on my telly....

Any help or pointers would be much appreciated.....

It wasn't working for me the last couple times I tried, most likely due to issues with the site.

However, its working fine today. I might have to spend Friday night at home watching movies.

I'm sorry, this *MUST* be a stupid question, but is the point of this vcdstorage.com to watch movies? If so, how do you watch them? When I click on one, it just goes to a review about the moive.

On the left side there's a dropdown for movies you can watch live. They want you to register to their forum. They didnt before.

Not for me.

Well technically, the script is working, I think it's the site that has problems... Going to their main page now (in a web browser) goes to forums... who knows what that means. It's definately not a reliable way to try to watch movies.

sorta figured they'd either change the site or disapear all together anyways.

not entirely suprising. so no the script doesnt work, and even if the site comes back...the last iteration of it had broke the script anyways. oh well.
