Scripting Keys On My Wireless Keyboard
« on: December 01, 2005, 02:23:00 AM »

I recently purchased an MS Optical Wireless Desktop for the sole use of using it with my Xbox, although now I jointly use it with my computer and Xbox. My question is though, is there any way to map the extra keys that come on the keyboard to XBMC using Python? There are several keys, such as favorites, volume, mute, fastforward, play, rewind, stop, my pictures, my music, my videos, email, messenger, etc. So is there any way that I can find the keyscan codes to these and write a python script for them? Thanks.

unless you can write a driver for that non-standard keyboard or convince some other programmer to do-so, NO.
