Hello? Hello? Hello?
« on: October 26, 2010, 08:21:00 PM »

We're waiting for you to get off your lazy ass and start coding for us, but first... here is an idea: Instead of complaining, and spamming a dev forum with useless spam, why not try to learn about programming first and how hard it is to dev on a jtag without a Dev Kit(frequent restarts/crashes with no explanation, save for a debug .txt output right before the crash, are a great moral booster btw) then complain why it is so hard to get homebrew out to the public.

Why make a topic like this if you know the response will be further flaming? There where a few topics before you and they both meet the same response, there is no doubt in my mind that this one will be any different.

TL;DR

You gotta admit there hasn't any major homebrew for a couple of months. The homebrew devs need to stop beating off and give us some new stuff.

Probably because there is no real way to debug on jtag...and most people that are developers can't get their hands on dev kits. If there was a better way to debug on a jtag then you would see a boost in homebrew releases. Another way to boost the homebrew scene for the 360 would be to find a hack that can be exploited on any console version (slim/latest kernels). I doubt either of these will happen for some time.

This isn't the case at all.  There's a TON of work going on...but much of it was hidden from public view, that's all.

my opinion too.
because we don't see not even one person interested in doing some media stuff for xbox360.
that's sad..now that we have all this possibilities..
FSD with media player would be so so good ...
too bad no one wants to help these guys :\

I don't think media is useful on a jtag since most people have to keep their jtags on 100% fan speed to keep them from getting rrod.
