People will once the bans start to be instant or the next FB patches Live access.

Even if none of that happens, that is a much better way to play modified content without any risks.

if this could run without having it running in PC would be awsome!

i bet so many many people would start to use xlink kai smile.gif

still...i think there will be much more people starting to use it since it's released.

wow, the screenshot of the "Xbox 360 Games" screen with Assassins Creed and all of the other games lined up is pure hotness. i wish the actual 360 dash looked like that. hopefully MS will take some cues from the scene smile.gif

great work guys!

can someone give me some details on the ping limit patch? i read before that only the host needs it...im wondering if thats true, and if someone with an unmodded 360 could join my sys-link game (via kai or xbc) if i was hosting from a jtagged box with the patch? if so, how is the performance (ie - is that ping limit imposed because there is too much lag for good gameplay, or is it just an arbitrary attempt to stop ppl from using kai?). i realize that ping will affect performance, but i found xbc and kai to work just fine with local friends on xbox back in the day, even with a ping of ~100ms.

thanks

30ms ping limit is just to stop xlink kai to work.

but u can apply ping patch easy with dashlaunch. that's what i did.
in freestyle dashboard now appears "system link patched" in avatar area

yes only host needs it

All clients need the ping patch. Host does not.

well tbh kai link is pretty good but as ive said before it will never be as popular as it was in xbox 1 days mainly because people can play on live for months/ years with the dvd patch so people prefer to do that for more reliable/less easy for people to be cheating, lets face it if people have a jtagged xbox most games ive played on kai 360 have had people just pratting about with hacks...yeah it is fun to do that but unless you get a group of people who you know to set up the game and not let random people in your kinda screwed for people coming in with hacks on

only way we will see kai like it was on xbox1 days is if we have a nice universal easy peasy unblockable hack for the masses to do along with instant bans for modded dvd drives, which tbh i dont see happening any time soon

EDIT: but on a lighter note the dash is lookin amazing now and any new feature is a plus, nice to see that the jtagged boxes are now getting a standard dashboard coz it was a bit of a  which ones better competion, nice to see a definative BEST dash
