Xm360 2.0a Public Release

No change in the config.  If i delete the file it will recreate it correctly and work until the program is reloaded again.  The dlc exclude file still works fine -seems to only be the xbla one having issues.

:\\xbla_titles.csv not found, creating from scratch...

Even if I put xbla_titles.csv in the folder with xm360server.exe.

I let xm360server.exe run through to completion both with the .csv file in the current directory, and without, but, I cannot seem to find where the new .csv file gets created, or updated.

No, it doesn't.  I looked at the code, and couldn't see why it wouldn't already support it.  And, since I have no multi-disc GOD titles, I have no way to figure it out.

for testing you can just drop another game into the same 07000 folder

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...
When I run "xm360server.exe /X" from a command line, I get this output:

Even if I put xbla_titles.csv in the folder with xm360server.exe.

I let xm360server.exe run through to completion both with the .csv file in the current directory, and without, but, I cannot seem to find where the new .csv file gets created, or updated.

The XBLA and DLC files are read from, and written to the content_bin_path...

and that defaults to hdd1:\

check your config.

Also, for whatever reason it seems to ignore the xbla_excludes.csv, which worked fine up until the last version.

Found and fixed.  I broke this in 2.0.

Great program.

I have a feature request, would it be possible to backup DLC on an external hard drive, so we can manage DLC between external, and internal hard drive?

Thanks!

DLC will never work on an external drive, so there's no reason to put it there.  If you are just trying to have more space for your DLC and swap it onto your drive when you need it...that's the whole idea behind the server component.  Works great, and I use it for that function all the time...

I currently show ~1600 songs in rock band 3 out of ~1900. xm360 seems to know nothing about rockband 2 as it shows no DLC for it yet there are tones of tracks. I have lots that show up as not in database but nothign mising even though I knwo I am missing some. as for rockband 1 I think I have everything but its hard to tell as alot of songs show in xm360 as "not Have" yet I do have and they work in rockband.

nothing in xm360 make sence for rockband DLC. everything else looks great. I know this is probubly not a priority as it only affects a small number of us collectors but I would love to see better rockband DLC support.

Holy crap.

I just discovered the biggest bug in DLC marketplace downloading... If a given title has more than 100 pieces of DLC, the scraper doesn't do anything beyond the first 100.

Fixed for the next release...whew!

Sorry if I didn't make that clear, I understand that external DLC isn't possible as of yet, unless you format a drive through NXE, even then you are limited in space.

I was just thinking of a manager, which would allow you to transfer DLC from seperate hard drives to save space directly from the 360, as I have a large external hard drive connected at all times. It sounds like the server component will do just that with a PC. I will have to mess around with it later.

Once again, great work.

Yep...I've got my *entire* 360 collection on my homeserver.  It is always on, and always running xm360server.  Any of the 360s in my house can connect to it and pull whatever content they want in that moment.  Then delete it when they are done to make space...  Only limitation is the speed of the network (which is slower than a hard drive, obviously...)

I did this, and it works perfectly...I dropped a Sonic & Sega Racing GOD package in the 00007000 directory that already had Game Room in it...rescan picked it up perfectly...

So, not sure what problem you are having.

Currently in beta test:

Version 2.0c -- Nov 3rd, 2010

* Found and fixed big bug in xm360server that was preventing all DLC from being recognized.
*    Unfortunately, this means that entering the DLC scene in xm360 now takes up to 10 full seconds to process the data.
* Some status messages have moved to a message box (since they disappeared in 2.0b)
* Fixed issue which was causing the xbla_excludes.csv file to not always be written
*
* If you love XM360, please donate via paypal: [email protected]

Seems to have a problem with the Repair Filenames popup menu.  It comes up with "Filenames repaired: 0" and after hitting OK or even Back it just comes up again and again.  I'm not sure if it is doing this for every folder or file, but it has already been about 50 of them and the only way to stop is to exit back to dash power down the system.

Hi Node21

I'm sure you won't miss it in the code when you fix the error but it also is happening on 'Unlock DLC' as well.
 As always loving the program

How hard would it end up being to have the outputted report files match the input files?  I.e. - Since they go in as the .csv with UTF-8 formatting coming back out with the same formatting versus txt without UTF-8?

I'm sure there is a way to maybe match them up, but none that I have found due to the formatting differences like - [3D Ultra™ Minigolf] input = [3D Ultra" Minigolf]
