Setting Up Visual Studio 2008

Hi guys, I have visual studio 2005 setup to compile and write code but what do I need to get visual studio 2008 running the same way? I have downloaded a few projects now that require VS2008.

Any help will be greatly appricated.

n/m I read a few different posts and it looks like I need a newer sdk.
