A simple tweak to the xex, it'll simply give you a pretty much infinite ammount of time to play.

Can we get a better guide on how to use this???

Have tried extracting/patching/replacing the default.xex with lefluffie, but doesn't work...

Define "doesn't work" DJ.

Simply, pull the XEX out of the Crackdown 2 Demo package, put it in the same directory as this program, put xextool in this directory too, and click the big 'patch' button in the Timer Tool.

Then just put the XEX back in your package, or run the xex/contents straight off your hard drive.

Also random bits -

The timer will be frozen unless you pause(for atleast one second), then unpause... Which will make it go down ONE whole second, lolz. After a few hours of messing around:

Didn't even know we could do that, will extract all the files and give this a go...

Works fine for me, although I didn't repackage it after, I just made a folder on my HDD and rant the demo from there via Freestyle.

To clarify, here's what I did:

1. Extracted entire game package into a folder on my PC.
2. Copied default.xex into another folder and applied the patch.
3. Copied patched default.xex back into the folder I created in step 1.
4. FTP'd the folder over to my 360.
5. Used Freestyle Dash to launch the demo.

Working perfectly, thanks!

Not knowing much about (read as nothing) patching myself, would a 'max stats' patch be possible???

Demos so much more fun if you get the upgrades, but spending an hour+ everytime is a bit of a headache...
