Xbox 1 Game Ripper For The Xbox 360 By Team Trinity
« on: June 20, 2010, 08:15:00 AM »

Team Trinity released Xbox 1 Game Ripper for the Xbox 360.

How to use:

Place the .ttf and the .xex file in a folder where you want the game to be ripped to.

Run the .xex and press X for the game to be ripped or A to return to the dashboard.

It should create a folder based on the title of the game (Reads title from the .xbe) and then dumps all the game files off the disk.

It has been tested with Forza, Splinter Cell, and Halo 2 and can be used with Xbox 1 originals and backups.

It also creates a log file when itÂ’s all completed.

I am sure he is referring to the games that would not normally work (which would require the "hacked emulator" files

CODE
========================================================================
Xbox 360 APPLICATION : Xbox 1 Game Ripper
========================================================================

Team Trinity Presents...

A Xbox 1 Game Ripper.

This was created before FreeStyleDash allowed dumping of Xbox 1 games. Just did not finish with the GUI until later...
This will create a folder wherever the xex is launched with the Xbox 1 Game name then dump all of the files into that folder.
It is multi-threaded so it will run a bit faster. This is just a start into the Xbox 360 Tools that will be updated for pub release (for devs/jtags)

-Team Trinity

Other notes:

*If you don't get a video output, X is to dump, A is to return you to dashboard.
*Insert your Xbox 1 Game before running the xex, Opening the tray will return you to dashboard

Is this just to make them run off of FSD or XEX Menu and the like? I would love to be able to install them as "Xbox Originals" and launch them from NXE.

Guys this was made before Freestyle let you rip XB1 games as it didn't recognize .xbe files only .xex. Anyhow now that Freestyle supports ripping of XB1 games (XEXmenu always had so it was never really needed) this app is more or less pointless. Unless you want a standalone XB1 ripper. I myself just FTP'd all my ISO's from my Xbox to my 360 using Xbox FTP and XEXmenu.

And it doesn't do anything for improving the compatibility for Xbox games. I think with the leak of that hacked EMU that is the best we are going to see. It isn't bad either most of my games work 100% that aren't on the official list. Some just don't support progressive scan, others don't support widescreen but all playable. Only one I have problems with is NHL Hitz 2002 as some sprites when choosing characters are distorted and I can't see who I am picking. Luckily it was the game I played most last gen so I know it form front to back. I am happy with it and if homebrew emulation gets better than it I will be surprised.

No, shortcuts aren't a pain or anything, but I just like to be able to install/uninstall right from NXE.

I don't use NXE at all so I don't use it myself as I am hooked on Freestyle with all the preview videos and stuff. Ever since dashlaunch 1.0 came out it is a new 360.

In case no one noticed, they also released a SkinBackup utility for dev kits

QUOTE
Welcome to SkinFlasher 360 by kiwidog & Team Trinity...
Press 'A' To Make a Backup
Press 'x' to flash 'flash.fdf' to your xbox [Currently Disabled]

This program has been tested, but the flashing code is highly unstable and uncomplete.
For this build only backups are being made. There is no GUI so when you run the .xex
just press A to recieve your backup, a log will be made.

I haven't had much luck with Xbox1 games, mainly because I've got a PAL 360 and an NTSC TV.

Most of the games I've tried go into PAL/50hz mode, which my TV doesn't support. I was going to try changing the 360's region from PAL to NTSC to see if that would help but Freestyle 1.2 doesn't allow this unfortunately sad.gif

I did get them to work by putting the 360 in SD/480P mode but then they were pillarboxed, so I decided I'm better off just keeping hold of my Xbox1, rather than having to switch the 360's mode every time I want to play an Xbox1 game pillarboxed!

You can change with region of your xbox by editing your smc config.

I'm obviously not getting enough sleep! I meant Freeboot 0.032, not Freestyle 1.2, but basically they've locked out changing the region in 0.032, so if you try you just get Christmas lights. Discussed here:
