After making my freeboot with the dash1.0 patches it just defaults to NXE.

Anybody knows why, i have chosen option 1. Hd always connected.

I changed the freeboot patches, and uploaded a launch.ini file to the root of the hd.

same situation here slashed launch.xex to flash to still not wirking lounch.ini is on hdd1 root

hi there
gotta problem here and hopefully someone of u could help me out

the readme says
QUOTE
As prerequisites you will need an image of your
console updated to kernel 2.0.7371 [recommended] and an archive "9199.zip" available
   at the usual places.

so, where to get this 7371 image ?
should a current updated kernel backup of my 8955 kernel works, or do i need the 7371 image for creating the bin ? :-/

This isn't the case.  You do need 9199 and Freeboot to have this work though (not sure why you are on 8955).  Anyways, build a kernel with anything you have previously used in a freeboot image to get it to 0.32 and then send it on over and it'll work fine.

hey, thanks for the answer
i just checked the ongoing tuts and i saw that i need a backupimage BEFORE the JTAG
(thats the 73** kernel image i mean before)
i didnt have that image from my nand, cause i not did the JTAG for myself, i bought the box "as is"

so shame on me, no update for me :-(

Just created a new freeboot nand images with the new patches, flashed it with flash360
flashed the launch.xex into the nand with included program
copied a launch.ini in the root of my HDD

everything is working fine, the console boots straight to freestyle dash and if i press Y on the miniguide it goes straight back to it. Also Xbox1 games work and going back to Freestyle from them.

Great work guys! Cant wait would patches come out next (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

PS: tried everything on a jasper 512

Thanks

I guess it works on xb1 games, it just doesn't work sometimes. I never have a disc in the ODD, so I can't say why. Can it have 'activity' if there's no disc in the drive?

I would just like to point out, that yes there are issues with loading the ini from a place besides flash when reverting to dash from a game, secondly, to the one who posted the controller image, RIGHT TRIGGER isnt a valid trigger for dashlaunch. RIGHT BUTTON is(i.e. the shoulder button).

you are a really funny guy and a huge help for the community ...

PS: after playing arround with it some more it seems to work for me quite well, i didnt have any errors yet, goes back to freestyle all the time without any problems (ini on hdd). going back to the normal dash works also just fine by pressing RB while going back
