Pulling My Hair Out Here (freestyle 1.20 + Xbla)
« on: May 18, 2010, 09:07:00 AM »

I've tried every combination I can think of to get XBLA content to show up in FSD 1.20 or the FSD Indexer.

Currently, I've got it in usb:/Content/0000000000000000/TITLEID/00004000/FILE

I know that some content from a 360 HDD shows up as "/Content/0000000000000000/TITLEID/000D0000/TITLEID/FILE"  but I've tried that as well and it still won't see it.  I've got several XBLA titles that are working fine on the 360 HDD that I bought them with on the orig. 360 I bought them with.

I've searched high and low to try and find some kind of definitive guide on how to properly set up FSD to make sure it sees everything, such as emulators as well as XBLA titles and can't really find one.

Every 360 Retail title I throw at it works perfectly, also in my configs I've got it pointing to all the default places.  Does anyone know what the trick is to getting XBLA content to work?

**Edit:  Also, is there anything I need to do to condition the XBLA content?  I know about the yaris swap software, but I didn't think that was necessary anymore

you still have to unlock xbla arcade content if you a have downloaded them of live before... but remember only the one you bought...

PS: check the config.xml in your fsdata directory (should be on hdd or usb) and look up if the usb path for xbla content is activated.

Should be \Content\0000000000000000\TITLEID\000D0000\FILE

"00004000" Is when you install a game, retail I believe, not XBLA.

Most games you download will already be structured to drop into the 0000000000000000 folder.  You shouldnt have to mess with the file unless you are unlocking your 'already purchased' game.

Either way, the end result should be "\Content\0000000000000000\TITLEID\000D0000\FILE"

For example, the game "0 day Attack on Earth" would look like this after full extracted:
Content\0000000000000000\584109B7\000D0000\B2080E9FFF47FE2DA382BD55EDFCA2152078AEBD58

Blue = TITLEID
Green = OFFERID
Red = File name

Unlocked or not, it should still show up.  If it is NOT unlocked, and you did not purchase the game, you will get an error message upon starting the game.

eh i assume ur running freeboot and not xbr remember xbr is looking for sata hdd/Content/0000000000000000/TITLEID/ not usb/Content/0000000000000000/TITLEID/ ...if you are running freeboot I think you have to use nxe to format the hd then it should work without a hitch....i use xbla unlocker to unlock trial versions to full

Should be usb:/Content/TITLEID/00004000/FILE not usb:/Content/0000000000000000/TITLEID/00004000/FILE

000D0000

Period.  As of every single XBLA game ever made, they ALL use 000D0000, and as far as I've been aware, Freestyle will always look for that "00000..." folder after content.

You mistake was this:  "/Content/0000000000000000/TITLEID/000D0000/TITLEID/FILE"

(Remove the red)
