Here are some more preview shots for upcoming 2.0, we will be releasing an alpha shortly (no definite date so please do not ask). The team is working hard completing the TODO list.

To reply to a few emails and comments.
@ "Release date?"
There is no release date, this is a hobby, we code when we have time, we add things when we have time. We'll release it once we all feel that it is stable enough for most end users.

@ "I wanted a custom dash not some NXE Clone"
This is a custom dashboard, nothing about it is a clone, what you're seeing is the skin, which we chose to make it NXE like because that was the main goal, to make a nice clean dashboard with everything that is existing, with features that are geared towards a jtagged xbox.

@ "SVN Access?"
We had big ideas and big changes were needed to be made to the source to accomplish the task. Which meant lots and lots of bugs, that we did not want to support since most of the ideas were ideas we didn't know we could do. It will be open again once 2.0 has hit alpha or beta stages.

@ "Where can I donate?"
No where, at the moment, there is no set system for us to take donations where it would be fair to everyone who's contributing to the project. If you want to donate some money... there are lots of charities out there that you can donate too. We may be open to donations one day for us to purchase dev kits, or for hosting/space/bandwidth, but as of this very moment, my server does the job fine.

@ "Can I translate to .. ... ... ?"
Once we have the framework in for multi-language, you can certainly help translate to X language.

Keep doing what you're doing guys.

I'm quite happy with the NXE-style FSD uses. There was nothing broken with NXE, why fix what isnt broken? People are just expecting another XBMC, which this is not, and they need to chill out a little.

Looks really amazing, cant wait. When this gets released, How can we make it so when we turn on our 360s it boots directly into this? and of course then using the guide button in case we ever need to use the NXE. Thanks in advance.

theo225, that's been possible for quite a while using Dash Launch to patch XBR.

This is included in FreeBoot, you just have to name the *.xex right and have it on the right place. Don't remember now what it is but read the readme included with the release and you find out.....

oh how cool would it be if there was an actual dash replacement (i.e replaces the guide button menu aswell) which would then easily allow some great homebrew functions such as trainers/memory editors or in game fan speed tweaks and displaying all your temps without having to exit your game and probably a doubtful feature of savestates but none the less if it was possible for homebrew to be running along side games it would make many new features/possibilities without having to edit xex's for each set of mods you want to run a game with it could all be switched on the fly and you could return to freestyle rather than NXE from guide

looking forward to this being released and not every one is looking for a new xbmc i didnt like xbmc as a dash on the original xbox but it is a grate program i run it under the linux pc i have hooked up to the tv as its the best play for linux imo

any ways thats getting off topic i think that the nxe is not that grate it had a lot of things you dont need to use and if i want to run a game off my hdd i need to find the menu then the program then wait for it to run the find the game with a new dash its just menu game its also very nice and handy to have my live games and home brew apps in different places that with the fact i can customize the custom dash i think thats why people want them not for xbmc

is there any UnleashX red theme out for any custom dash i really liked that it was simple and very practical
