It automatically updates the clock for you if you are connected to the net

Big Changes to AvatarRenderer Class -Avatar now Renders with Predicated Tiling- which allows a huge resolution boost- perfect rendering achieved -Avatar is scalable to XUI Element- ie., if you make the xuielement larger, the avatar is scaled to fit that scene -Reacts properly to signin status change (disappears if no avatar is made for account, or signed out) -Made scene configurable with tons of settings including an option to rotate avatar with a slider -Can set avatarrenderer scene to show player 1- 4, or create a randomly generated avatar -Can display more than 15 avatars (copies or all different) on screen at the same time(i only tested 15 and it was stead 60fps, so i bet you can get more) -Added RenderLoopInjector- allows any class to inject rendering code directly into the render loop at 5 distinct points -Frame work for custom animtions is added- only remaining item. Rock On!

Looks like this is going to be top notch....

Thats just the Default skin, there will be more available after release. BTW, got the source code ffor the NXE dash  wink.gif
FSD lists games/xbla quicker as it loads the index as FSD boots, which means if you add anything to it you have to reboot. NXE reads and scans content only when you go the Games' blade. Its not better coding, just a different way of doing things and each has there pros and cons

so.............. this means we can have more codecs in native NXE ? and .srt support?

and we don't need frestyle dash now ?

It amazes me every time I turn on my Xbox how awesome FSD is.  While it takes the NXE over a minute to load my XBLA games, FSD does it instantly.  I love the clean interface and the features like the recent and favorites list.  I don't know how I like the new skin though since I feel that the NXE is the most poorly designed dashboard of any console.  Then again that could be because it is poorly organized, slow, and covered in ads; none of which is the case with FSD.  Hopefully the old skin will still be available though.

Its a shame M$ isn't as talented as you; keep up the great work!
Also, I use a forwarder disc and set the xbox to autoboot the disc.  I can then also choose "Play DVD game" from the guide menu to get back quickly.  It works very well.

I really, really, REALLY hate that NXE takes forever to show the games list if you have too many XBLA games!

I was wondering about a kind of "direct boot" to FreeStyle, but what if it crapped up? I had my freestyle freeze on startup at one point in time - it kept doing and I had to delete the cache to make it function properly again -  but how would I do that if I had set it to autoload Freetyle - I would be crapped eternal, or at least I don't know how to access the data on the hdd without actually booting the xbox360... I actually thought of a forwarder disc as well - please tell me how and where?

had this problem ones too (with autoboot to fsd)... had to connect my HDD to the pc and delete the config xml to get it booting again.
the current fsd and fsdindexer is reallly buggy i think, sometimes the data get lost and those things.
i hope they fix those problems with a new version.
another good solution would be an option for fsd, like pressing "x" on startup, that it start in a save mode and not loading the old config to prevent crashs
