Yeah it can be in any language. It's just saying it supports the characters.

Interesting. These Japanese/Chinese download pages are a pain to navigate, even with google translate.

Edit: Seems to work pretty nice. Some odd translations, and it is a bit laggy when it changes the background image for a game. But it can download game artwork automatically from the a dash which is nice.

It didn't work on Arkade games to download Artwork. I have all my games in GOD format so Arkade were the only games visible. I still need to tray to download Artwork to games in Folder Format. I don't really have games in folder format since I need to use my Kreon drive to get the games on my computer and I haven't the drive here because a friend borrowed the drive like a year ago. I heard Freestyle can read originals to Folder format maybe I try that....

Japp Freestyle rocks. That thanks to cooperation. One person can just do so mutch on his free time. It.s kind of like XBMC began. At first it only played divx and at the end it played everything including games and served as a dashboard.

Freestyle started with games but there are only so many functions you could have for games. I am quite sure in a few months we will be able to watch media trough it, maybe even MKV. 360 has natively a H264 support but in the wmv container. so it shouldn't be so hard for the 360 to look for the h264 in mkv. If Freestyle gets media support there is only a few lines of code to get the mkv suport. The codec is already there since the previews are in wmv.

Although Freestyle is my dash of choice the updates in this version are all solid.  Custom media playback tho is where things will have to go in the future as game launching and organizing is already more or less sorted, its just how nice you want it to look IMHO

what's with everybody using "xex" in the name of their software?

I don't remember half the dashboards being called "XBE-something" back in the xbox1 days

They seriously need to get some better names going...
