Freestyle Dash 1.20 Final

Fricking sick, man. This is the kind of thing I've been waiting for to pull me from the NXE dash. I'll have to throw this onto one of my Jaspers.

Are those backgrounds customizable for each menu selection? I know the icons were for each individual icon, but I couldn't tell from the vid if the backgrounds are as well.

Either way, great work! I'm looking forward to new releases.  biggrin.gif

Just dropping by to post the most recent update.

Lots of big updates:

-All icons have been redrawn as vector images, and now are silky smooth at 1080p
-Theme Module is basically complete, this video is here to show it in action.

Let me know what you think guys!

Thanks!

Freestyle NXE - 4/18/10

Just amazing how much we can customize now  ohmy.gif

What would be nice is at least an update on the progress..Seems this project went from being open and talked about. To a few people that do not want to give any information back to the community...The svn was locked and now we don't hear a single word from you guys....

I am not asking for a date but an update on the progress would be nice...I am sure there are a ton of updates and you guys are busy..A few minutes will not hurt..As we have master that likes to tease us with his skin/theme..

Keep up the good work and hopefully we will get some kind of info...

Thats one hell of an SVN log.  By the time i had finished reading it and refreshed the page, there was another update!  After seeing the new theme, looking at the default 1.20 theme is starting to make me cringe  happy.gif

actually i still like the belanos theme...the digi clock is soo cool...of course i will update to this...but man these are exciting times...to say cringe is not the word...my days fudging about with early jtag soft will allways be memorable...i really think this is the last of the consoles that will be like this...companies seem to be locking down with better and better security...

Genres are not working for xbox 360 games, only for XBLA...
How can I fix this?

Did not know you could put genre in XBLA..You need to edit the content.xml and find the game to edit then put in the right tag....

FSD Indexer does this, but they didn't show up.

But now I have a bigger problem.
Uploaded 1 game to the xbox, and now I don't have any screenshots/boxart/background for the 60 game, where I had once before sad.gif

Strange...
And all this details do I have on my PC, but after I request FSD Indexer to download data, it took ages again, because it doesn't use the local cache sad.gif

I guess I need to backup continuously the content.xml from the fsdata folder on the xbox...

I've done the procedure below.....But it does'nt show in the NXE. Can somebody help me....?

* Copy the proper boot package to hdd1:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00007000\ to have it show in the NXE Dashboard.
o freestyle-usb - package to boot freestyle from usb0:\freestyle\freestyledash.xex
o freestyle-hdd - package to boot freestyle from hdd1:\freestyle\freestyledash.xex

hey there

if you did it right, it have to work cause these are xbox internal ways to show the containers

be sure to copy the needed file to the correct folder. dont forget only one zero (copy and paste ...)
ex: if you have installed the FreestyleDash folder on your HDD1, then use the "freestyle-hdd" file and ftp it to 0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00007000\
if you want to use USB0 for freestyle installation, use the freestyle-usb file

it should work. there arent any tricks or hints. and of course there arent any other peoples who have problems with the container files.

if it style wont work, use quickboot to create your own container

-> Did you searched in NXE at "Games library" -> "All games" ?
