is there any way to change pathes? i mean i want to have everything which is connected with xbox on my external drive in one folder, not few folders on root, ie:

USB:\XBOX360\Games
USB:\XBOX360\Apps

instead of:

USB:\Games
USB:\Apps

;-)

how does freestyle detect which games I have extracted to my usb/games folder ?
it is based on foldername ? something inside one of the files maybe ? some xml file somewhere ?
i have no idea but i would like to know because I am working on an automated system for downloading the preview movies from the web and placing them in correct folders ...

the script is complete and working, and i get folders for each game with a preview.wmv in there but it will not work for everyone since their folders may have different names ... would like to know how freestyle detects the games and links them to the appropriate pictures etc.

when it is completely working including these automated folders etc, i will release the script .. we will then all have preview movies in freestyle wink.gif

FreeStyle uses the Game ID in the 000000000 Folder. You may be able to get some more details playing around the FSD Indexer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought freestyle used the game ID from the 0000000000000000 folder AND the game ID from the Games folder if it exists  blink.gif

Are you guys talking about the XBLA games ? Because those I can figure out .. they have fixed numbering and there are databases available ... But what about ISOs extracted to /hdd/games or /usb/games ?
I have folders there, some are with a space in the foldername and some without but they all seem to be recognised ... I need to know how to find out which game is in each folder so I can match the information against the collection of preview.wmv's the script generates

hmm maybe I should checkout the xml file of FSDindexer ...

A friend of mine tried to upgrade his Freestyle setup to the 1.20 release and has now ended up with no ability to launch any versions of Freestyle.  All other homebrew still works, but neither 1.20 nor any older versions he's tried will launch.

Can anyone tell me a comprehensive list of places Freestyle stores data so we can clear them all out and try again as if he had never had any version installed?

How do I get out of XBLA section? The back button isn't there anymore. Tried exiting to nxe, and back in, nothing, it goes straight into XBLA section, again with no back button.  blink.gif

You have parental controls on, I can't remember off the top of my head how to disable it I think it's holding the right trigger  (but again I'm not 100%)
