Is it jus me or does nxe restart its configuration every time my xbox is turned off for everybody with xbr3 or just dash launch?

It resets my nxe settings every reset.
If I go back to Nxe after boot for I always have to go through the initial setup.

i get red rings sometimes on boot but i turn off and on on again and its fine. bad flash maybe?

should i try a fresh flash again?

Im jus wanderin whats up its kinda annoying.

Sounds to me like your jtag wires/resistors/diodes arent soldered properly. Especially if your getting RRoD.

Maybe i should open up the box and see whats up with his work when its being photographed?

quadrant 4 lit only
and
quadrants 1 3 4 lit

this is with xbox sitting long ways.

boot on sometimes get one of theres error rebot its fine sometimes its slower to boot then others and the box is brand new from last month.

XBR Systems: All consoles are shipped with latest version of XBR with r6t3 removed

Info on systems:
-DVD drives flashed with latest iXtreme or non stealth upon request.
-NOT BANNED
-Never opened accept to flash, warranty stickers are intact I do no damage them!
-Never RROD or E74
-Guaranteed against DOA

So it should not be a hardware malfunction

I thought it may be some quirk in the dash launch code.

any ideas? anyone else have this issue

this is a known glitch with Xbr. especially on HDMI units.

I second that, but it is most common on Zephyr boards.  I haven't had any issues with Falcons or Jaspers16mb.

Happens on falcons sometimes as well.

hiya,

I also have a zephyr board with xbr3 and once in a while it gives me (E79)1 ring(boots 3 outa 5 fine), especially when i'm using the hdmi(this is indeed a know issue and hope it will get fixed) but my question was what happens when you patch the nand so it boots straight into freestyle.
Because i'm kinda scared to try this out cuz I don't know what will happen after the reset. Will it go to freestyle or will it freeze after initial setup?
also, if it goes fine after initial setup and goes to freestyle how can I go back to NXE so I can install my ip config, otherwise I can't ftp to it. Wll I need to delete the xex files and put them back? would be kinda annoying to do this everytime.

if you install the update using Flash360 its very easy also if there is no launch.xex in the root of HDD1 then it will boot to NXE dashboard if there is an Launch.xex then it will boot what ever dash you specify in the ini file also if it boots to your dash you press the guide button then press (Y) then up and (A) to get back to NXE.

I currently have a falcons XBR3 patched with the new update and i get RROD some times and also sometimes it doesn't boot (Both are rare) also i use the HDMI so hopefully it will be fixed as the first time i shat my self lmao thought y expensive 360 was bust.
