Freestyle Dash V1.10 Final
« Reply #15 on: March 13, 2010, 10:23:00 AM »

For 2.0:

- Adding a "Launch Disc" button would be nice (which also loads the nxeart and puts it in the background, like NXE is doing it).

- Adding a "Original XBOX" button

- Loading Games via FTP

- Making a nice standard skin, with not those BIG buttons would be nice.

I'm not the best coder myself, but if I see what you achieved so far, I dont see any problems for you to accomplish those 4 features.

Btw, very very good work !!
On it's first release I didn't had any hope for FSD, but know I'm loving it, reminds me alot of those old Evolution-X days back on t he original XBOX smile.gif
Maybe the guys behind XBR, can get FSD inside the Flash as soon as it reaches the 100% Dash replacement status smile.gif

Keep up t he good work!

why would you assume it's been taken out?
try it and find out!

Why does it index itself? when I list my games, I see freestyle as one of them.
It's indexing the launch file in C0DE9999
how do i remove it from the list?

Any chance you can stop doing whatever it is that breaks the stuff the FSDIndexer gets? It takes a couple of hours for me to grab all that stuff

I don't know if you have the same issues that I have, but I've noticed that when I updated the index through ftp it took 15 minutes. When I updated through USB, it took about 1 minute.

Hey guys I have Jasper motherboard that normally runs around 55-65c for cpu and 60 to 70c gpu sitting idle in xex menu or freestyle for 15 min. After changing the fan speed to 80% I can get them down to around 50c each, any idea why my box would be running so hot and people with xenons are pulling 40-45c gpu? Also, what is an assumed safe temp for cpu, gpu and mobo? And will this fan speed increase burn out my fan quickly (if so not worried about it, just curious)? Thanks so much

I have not yet had the chance to try the new version.

But is there a reason why the FSDIndexer cannot be implemented into the dashboard?

Of all the versions of this great dashboard i have used, i have never used the FSDIndexer. Its a needless hassle as I see it.

*edit, nvm I see you guys are on it smile.gif

I get about 52 deg celsius for the cpu on my xenon. I have a 12v fan mod mod, and the mobo currently not in a case.  Although 12v does get quite loud.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that 1.10 is working great. I can now FTP successfully from Ubuntu, using Filezilla (couldn't before). Now xexmenu won't see much use (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Great job mate, keep it up!

I have yet to test FSDIndexer.exe from Ubuntu. If I get the chance, I'll report back (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Nice, I will test this version ASAP as I encountered several bugs in 1.10 RC1.

Hopefully the bugs that I had regarding not being able to change skins from the settings sometimes, lock-ups when using the favourites function and so on is fixed now.
