Does anyone else have the Copy CD function fluctuate a lot to painfully slow speeds? when it's reading a game, sometimes it'll go at 6 mb/s or so, and then sometimes it will drop down to 0.3mb/s and just take forever. same thing happened to me with xexmenu, but when I install from NXE it goes much, much, much faster

edit: it's happened to me on all versions, not saying its this one in particular

Some dash had a bug so it used CPU and GPU at 100%

Is it possible to have a feature in FreestyleDash where you see all the temperatures and the dash uses GPU and CPU at 100%?

This would be very useful for testing RRoD repairs and cooling mods.

Isn't there an updated freestyle-hdd file to link to the freestyle folder?
Freestyle Dash shows up as version 1.09 under my game list...

I don't think the xbox can write to HFS+, just read

After using the FSD Indexer all my games have a nice looking menu background but the cover is still blank and the screenshot boxes still say "no screenshots available".
What am I doing wrong? How do I sort this out?
Its driving me crazy!

EDIT: Ok it seems like the only thing being saved to the individual artwork folders is an icon.png file. Everything else is lost after I have saved and shutdown FSDIndexer. WTF?

Still no reply..Is it just not possible to FIX FSDIndexer to allow the person to fill in the "GENRE" tab in FSDIndexer..Or is it not of high concern???I would think it was a  simple fix but it seems like it is not...

I ask this because about 20 games don't have the genre filled in and it makes them incomplete...If I had the option to fill it in then it would have the genre and I would be able to choose by genre in Freestyle...


Dont take this as me being rude...I just have never received or seen any type of response to the question asked a few times already by different members...

If you really wanted to change it you could change it manually in the content.xml file, but that would take forever

Yes I am aware that you can do it manually and yes you are correct that it will take forever...

The thing is it is all setup in FSD but yet the option is blocked..I am not sure why it would be blocked in the first place.Thats why I am wondering if there is more to it???If not then it seems like the only thing missing from the program...

Through Wine? Report back man. I definately would like to see a binary for linux, that would be great wouldn't it. Haven't used FSDindexer yet because it feels stupid to grab and install Windows just because of it.

Fantastic work with the dash.  Only had my JTAG box for a week and glad to be coming into the scene at this point.  Even with how much I appreciate the hard work I'm sure you deserve more accolades.

I ran into a problem and I'm not sure where it came in.

I installed dashlaunch via Patch Pack v5 and booting straight to the latest freeloader.  Installed on the first try and works perfectly.

I can't get the 360 to sync with any new controllers.  The controllers are fine and have circle the lights looking for the 360 but I can't get the xbox to enter sync mode.  I've tried from the Freestyle dash, NXE, and in game.  The 360 is a jasper and came to me out of the box.  It worked when I got it, have one controller and GH drums and guitar working.

Do you think this could be a software thing?

Sorry if this is the wrong place for the posting, but I thought it might be related.


EDIT:  Tried a few things and got it working.  Unplugged the power and HDD for a minute.  Plugged in just the power so it boots straight to NXE.  Sync worked in a heart beat with all the controllers.  Just to test, put the HDD back on and boot to Freestyle and sync on the 360 doesn't initiate.

It would be good if someone could edit the shortcut to remove the "1.09" so when future updates are released it never needs changed.
I agree the temp monitoring would be best if you could set the desired temp and the fans speed adjusted automatically to reach that temp.  This would be great if it was during games as well of coarse!

I installed this Dash and I must say I really like it. I however had a problem with the FSDIndexer. If you choose to store the data on the XBOX 360's Hard Drive and you have XBOX 360 Games on a USB Hard Drive and you use Long Folder Names for the Games stored on the USB Hard Drive the FSDIndexer will stop working correctly. It slows to a crawl and then you have to end task on it.

The last thing I would like to see... is to have 2 FreeStyle Dash launchers for USB or HDD... one that puts it under GOD and one that puts it under Demo... I prefer the Demo option because it groups all Homebrew on the XBOX 360 into a single location...
