I just make sure to have a quick boot container for everything, that way you can just to quick launch --> All, and everything will always be there.

I always just hit the guide and boot the freestyle dash through the "play game on disc" option. It seems like the fastest way to get back into the dash

Good evening!

I just wanted to drop in and post a small update.  Graphics are undergoing tweaking- so nothing is set in stone- but concept is there.

Check it out- let me know what you think

It was beutiful, can't wait to use it. Only the Avatar is missing. But the extra features kick more ass then the missing. When I have that I will never need to go back to microsofts dashboard....

NO!

Don't start playing Final Fantasy or the skin will never be finished  laugh.gif

Seriously tho great work we all can't wait to try it out.
If it does what it "says on the tin" then apart from a tricked out avatar and some cool backgrounds its already better than NXE.
If someone hacks the guide button next it'd be cool to streamline it too ie no xbox live stuff on a J-tag and a dedicated back to freestyle button

Since I use dash launch, freestyle already autoboots so that's why i don't use the disk anymore and also have quickboot containers you don't need to go back to freestyle to launch another game (you just launch it from the quick launch -> all menu).

That's quite easy to make in photoshop of some old games for logos and such. What is hard are some HD Previews that isn't just someone webcaming a tv while they inside the emu or homebrew....

covers are not that hard, thats true. just take a normal cover and add a console logo, game pictures or whatever. but is it that easy to make those icons look like official ones?
im just a bit lazy thats because i asked if someone allready did the job.
screenshots of emulators arent that hard to make on the PC, you just not have HQ pics of the menu.

PS:
Another problem im facing right now is xbox1 support, i have some XBOX1 Gods (original and selfmade) on the HDD as well as some extracted games in seperate Folders on the HDD in a XBOX1 folder. (all with default.xbe in  the root of the folder)
I thought the latest svn should list all those games?
Im currently running SVN215 and in FSD under XBOX Classics are 3 games listed, but without title or any other information. Those are my XBOX1 Gods in the conent folder.
I read here that it list extracted xbox games on the HDD in a xbox1 folder, why isnt it working for me?

put games extracted with xbox iso extract into folder 'xbox1' on root of USB HDD

svn215 will then see them. GODS don't appear with their titles, so I don't bother with them now

you have to manually add the artwork in the fsdata/artwork directory in te same title folder that FSDIndexer shows and change the config file lines from

<images sscount='0' icon='0' boxart='0' background='0' />

to

<images sscount='1' icon='1' boxart='1' background='1' />

for each game
