Xexmenu Working With Wireless N Adapter?
« on: March 10, 2010, 01:52:00 PM »

For an earlier version of xexmenu, I saw a report of the wireless adapter working with xexmenu

I can't seem to make this happen (one of my boxes has broken wired ethernet for some reason)

Is anyone else able to use FTP with the Microsoft Wireless N Adapter (the black one)?

The strange thing is that I can play music from my PC over the network while I'm in XeXMenu, so I know the network connection is working.  I also see the expected IP address in the config page of xexmenu.

Just no FTP comms (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Also, the only time the IP address is pingable is when I go to the Settings blade and run the Test PC Connection.

I have one and it works fine, I did have a faulty adaptor that I had to return but thats the adaptor the new one works sweet with xexmenu and freestyle.

I have heard of some people having issue with their routers (in particular the WRN2000) but thats was fixed by updating the firmware.
