Yeah you can if you use Dash Launch0.02. I'm using it with Freestyle 1.09 beta currently. i haven't tired this version with it yet.

I am having the same issues and don't think it is related to a workmanship It is weird Sometimes the box gets stuck at the logo, sometimes it gets stuck playing...

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

sounds a bit like a coming rrod (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) atleast on my xbox this happend right before i first got the rrod.

yah i was getting random E74's then right after i updated the freestyle RC1 i would get the lockups when trying to sort by genre, then all of a sudden RROD.... not saying freestyle was the cause, i guess just another coincidence. I removed xclamps and fixed RROD for now, kinda skeptical to run freestyle now.... only thing im nervous about is the fan control... I think i will stick with the older dash for now and just wait and see for later build.

how long did it take to scan the games during the first time you load it i.e. the fsdata bit? Is it just a black screen when it was doing this? I selected internal hard drive and have been waiting 20-30 mins on a black screen and not sure if it's doing anything or not ...

I get no E74's and booting into Xell and Debian thingy works just fine, can run for hours... And after that it boots into the dashboard somewhat okay. But for now I have a black screen and no dashboard..., it's weird... I just fixed a RROD on it and everything was running fine. I did not play long. For me it's just a concept and I updated Freestyle Dash and turned it back off... It seems like something else is wrong with it... I will try to eliminate problems, until I find the issue

Any suggestions would be appreciated...

OT:

How to NOT get RROD ever again,

1. remove dvd-rom (run it externally if you still need to run stuff from disc)
2. mount 120mm fan blowing down on the GPU

result:

CPU: 48-50 C
GPU: 37-40 C

And thats after playing ME2 for about 4 hours straight!

I don't know if it's related to the new freestyle dash, but soon after i used the new one, i also got a rrod with a secondary code of 0102. Could be a coincidence though.

If i just removed the DVD drive, would there be any noticeable temperature changes?

I just got the Whisper Max fan, and am still getting fairly high temps at 12V

54-56.5 CPU
67-70.5 GPU

after playing Bad Company 2 for any amount of time. The time duration did not affect my temps, once i launch a game and play it for 30minutes or 3 hours and just boot back to freestyle from the game those are always the temp readings.

in the freestyle dash idle for any amount of time My temps would drop down to 50c=CPU and 63c=GPU

are these temps within the "safe zone" ?

OK, it had definitely crashed and it crashes every time I run it. All i get is a black screen.

Any ideas why this could be? I can run Freestyle 1.0.9 beta fine.

The only thing i can think of is that my 360 has the 12v fan mod on it so is always running 100%, As this release of Freestyle has fan control, is it crashing when trying to adjust the fan at start-up maybe?

Did you delete the config file for the 1.09 beta before running the latest RC?

Use the FSDIndexer program from your computer that's in the freestyle folder that you unrared or downloaded.

Put in the IP of your xbox and connect.

It will automatically scan your XB Drive and put the screenshots and cover art in there for you, it's truly amazing!
