I hava problems with it. First of all i can see only recent games, because the xbox 360 game list is empty. Secondly, when i push "Y"(genres), the dash freezes... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I had that problem too at first, I deleted my fsdata folder and ran the new fsd indexer in that version and it worked fine. it freezes like that when theres nothing there for me too

Well there goes my first post. I just got my xbox jtagged, and have a lot of questions on my mind since then (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I made a copy of Ninja Gaiden II to HDD:\Games\Ninja Gaiden II\

I used DVD Copy in the uitilities menu of Freestyle Dash and specified Ninja Gaiden II as the foldername.

It shows up and starts just fine from the Freestyle Games menu, but there isn't a Ninja Gaiden II icon in the menu. I see al nice menu's on the web of people who have an icon for every game.

I saw some posts about indexing, but how do I do that?

Thanks in advance!

there's a program in the zip called FSD indexer, when you run it you should get all of the icons backgrounds and such for your games

Dont know if its a bug in freestyle or flashfxp, but when i change into hdd1 or usb0 folder, i cant get back to "\"  (root).

So i have to re-logon to the ftp to be able to see all the storage drives again. In the earlier version i could just write \ in flashfxp and it would change into root, but this doesnt work now.

Other than that, everything is awesome smile.gif

I am having the same issue. If i use the "parent directory" button it doesn't work.

You can just edit the path and get where you need to go but its a pain.

I am also using flash fxp

As others have said in less detail, there is an fsdinexer package with the Freestyle dash. This app scans your games, downloads metadata from the web, and uploads it to your 360 for Freestyle to use. Also, get in the habit of not using spaces in your directory names. It can cause issues with some games I've heard.

Is there a way to go back to Freestyle dash from a game? Aside from creating a quickboot container and going to quick launch after using the guide button?

Don't think there is. If anyone can shed any light on this, it would be appreciated.

Come on guys you all know there cant be any download links to anything built with XDK.

Don't make me have to keep removing the links.

Use the Freestyle boot disc, that way you can just select "Play Game on Disk" from the Guide button menu to return to Freestyle.

Think I found a bug.  Games on hdd1 with Quickboot links.  First run all games are shown twice.  After Indexer, duplicates are removed but the last game still shows from HDD and code9999.  If I remove the QB link from code999, the last game is now listed once but the second to last game is now listed twice.  Seems the indexer does something with the last QB link.  Work around was to set last game as a Xbox1 game to remove from view.  Great work guys.

Does someone know how to manually add screenshots? I have some jap titles i bought and are installed as GOD'S. In FS i got the boxart to show, I made my own wallpapers to show, but can't get any friggin screenshots to show, even when i add them in FS Indexer. There the same resolution as the one's off the official xbox site, and are titled ss-1.jpg, ss-2.jpg, etc. So i can't see why they won't show.

I wasted 4 hours yesterday trying to get these to work...

Great work on the developement on this guys pop.gif

Has this or anything else fixed the ftp problem where if there isn't something already in the folder it won't transfer? I still seem to have that problem with any replacement dashboard i've tried. Unless there was something I already missed?
