NXE2GOD v1.1
« Reply #15 on: February 18, 2010, 06:41:00 PM »

From now on the primary download site for my apps will be:

http://www.digitalre....co.nz/xbox360/

NXE2GOD 1.1 can be found here:

http://www.digitalre.../xbox360/?p=252

Technically they are illegal as they're using the official SDK, but as it's such a limited subset of users with jtag'd boxes I seriously doubt MS would take legal action. I love their console and have 3 of them, 2 are XBR and 1 is a legit console on live.

All my games are legit and I really hope/encourage users of my apps are using them on legit games that they own. My apps are purely for convenience not piracy.

I will get things uploaded to Xbins but will most likely always be a day or two behind my website releases. I like to track the amount of downloads as it lets me know what apps are popular and where I should spend my dev time so if things are downloaded from my website it allows me to do that.

Freeboot won't run any of the good stuff, you will need to install XBReboot.

Thanks for the download links, this app is great when we have a games night, we can all stay on the couch and just flit between games. We don't actually have all that many games, but it is great not having to mess around with the discs, we boxed them up and put them in the garage so they don't ugly up the bookcase any more.

I asked this on other threads including making one but wasn't able to get an answer...hopefully i cna get one by asking here then.

I got a Cygnos V2 Xbox360 because someone broke mine and he gave me that one for free.  The only problem is I don't know how to install freeboot or XBR, I also dn't know what the OFF switch does (it just stays black screen and eventually Red Rings on the hardware).  I do have the original NAND file.

I don't know much about these things so I need a dummies guide.  I would contact the guy who gave me the Cygnos Xbox, but I am unable to due to some issues.

Not sure if anyone has realised, but NXE2GOD doesn't work with Halo 3. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not seeing as Halo 3 actually takes longer to load if it's installed to the HDD but if it is intentional I think it shouldn't be. It should be left as an option for the user to decide if they want to install it or not.

It should work, fairly sure someone tested it fine on Halo 3 ages ago. Source code is floating around in another thread somewhere if you want to try fix it smile.gif
