...Any way possible you guys could make a game save manager.
I love suggestions, so keep 'em coming... But, I'm not too familiar with the concept of a game save manager. What would it do? What is the purpose? Can you point me at any similar apps elsewhere?
And now, a question...I had seriously considered holding off on releasing 1.2 until it had a few real features in it. The only "feature" in 1.2 is probably the fact that DLC now shows it's release date and rating if it was scraped from the marketplace. The feature I was most considering adding is as follows:
Every time you "launch" and XBLA title from within XM360, track it. That leads to the idea of sorting by most launches (your favorites), manual clean-up of titles you *never* launch [add the ability to Delete content], and displaying the last launch date of each title.
But then I started wondering if I should even bother...The problem is that most people will use a dash, or a launcher, and not XM360...so, the whole concept is broken. Then there's the fact that the (at least my) 360 almost never has the right date since I'm always unplugging it, so date stamping would be wrong most of the time anyway.
So, I'm ready to concede any features around keeping track of favorites to other apps (like freestyle). So, the question. Is that a sensible thing to do? Is anyone *actually* using XM360 as a means to launch their XBLA content? To be honest...I do...I run xm360, go into the collection manager, sort by rating/titles that I have, and make sure I'm launching the highest rated titles...But I might be the only person using it that way.
